Here’s a complete list of all the courses running this Spring Summer:

I’ll be offering Studio Lighting III as a multi-section class, covering Studio Lighting 2 & 3 (and 1 if there is interest).  If you would like to enroll in this class and don’t have the prerequisite, email me and I can set it up.

I’ll also be teaching the Studio Lighting I in the Summer Intensive ( 1:00-4:00pm, 5 days a week).

Online Gallery of my show

May 25, 2010

I’ve posted an online gallery of the Polo Motion photos from my current show at Snowball Gallery.  If you haven’t had a chance to see the show, you can view the images here.  You can also use this site to order prints from the show.  Simply enter the size of print you would like in the comments section, and click the ADD button.  When you’ve finished making your selection, click the SUBMIT MY ORDER button and fill out the form.  I’ll email you to confirm your order.

I’ve had a few queries about the very reasonable print prices for these images.  I debated whether to offer limited editions, at higher prices, but in the end opted for non-editioned prints, and a lower price point. I feel that I would rather have more people able to purchase prints and enjoy them on their walls.

This weekend is the last chance to see the show in person!  Snowball Gallery is open Thursday – Sunday, at 1690 Queen Street West.

BTW, this online gallery is a Lightroom template from Lightroom Galleries, and it’s available as a free download (donationware).

Archival Processes

March 29, 2008

For those who were on the tour of the show at the Corkin Gallery yesterday, we were talking about some of the archival processes involved in some of the older prints.  I found a great site full of information and how-to’s on some of these early processes here.  Have fun exploring!  Perhaps if there’s enough interest we could put together a workshop on combining these processes with digital capture!

I just came across a new site by veteran photographer Joe McNally.  It’s a brand new blog, where he generously shares his know-how and insights.  Looks like one to watch!  Here’s the link:Joe McNally’s Blog

Welcome to Rob’s Inlight

January 29, 2008

I’m creating this site primarily for my photography students, so you can get information, exchange ideas, and stay up to date on the constantly changing world of photography.  While I’m certainly no writer (and a worse typer), I will endeavor to make these postings at least entertaining, and hopefully informative. As a start, I’ve created Rob’s Guide to Everything!  (mostly photographic, but I do tend to digress)  On these pages you’ll find links and info about suppliers I recommend, places to get info, and where to get the stuff you need.  I hope you enjoy them.  If you have any suggestions, or need additional recommendations or info on a subject, just send me a comment. Enjoy!
